Helena Ravenclaw - Anna Popplewell
Since Anna Popplewell is a popular topic right now, could you please do something for the Bloody Baron x Helena ship? Like maybe Anna as Helena, as someone else mentioned, and perhaps Ben Barnes as the Baron? Thanks!
Yes, of course. We’ll give that a go!
Have you ever thought about doing a teen founders AU? You could use Anna Popplewell for Rowena, and maybe Ben Barnes as Salazar.
Yeah, we had thought about doing something with younger founders and those are both good casting options, thanks! :)
Hogwarts Founders Dreamcast - Katie McGrath as Rowena Ravenclaw
Fair Ravenclaw, from glen
what do u guys think about colin o'donoghue for salazar slytherin
Interesting. He’s not someone you see used for Salazar a lot, but it could definitely work. He’s got quite a Slytherin look about him.
I think Anna Popplewell would make a good Rowena, or maybe Helena.
Ooh, yes. Possibly a bit young-looking for Rowena, but she’d definitely be a good Helena!
Tom hiddleston makes a hot slytherin ok. like damn.
Agreed. (When doesn’t that man look hot?)
We use Chris Hemsworth as our Godric, though, so it’d feel a bit weird to have Tom Hiddleston as Salazar. But we’re open to any fancasts people use that are different to our own.
What do you guys think of Salazar and Helga's relationship? Do you think they could be together?
Well we’re both big Helga x Salazar shippers, so we are a bit biased towards them, haha! As to whether they could be together, maybe, but it’s also possible that their relationship never really got the chance to develop properly. Helga and Salazar (at least, how we see them) are similar in that they’re both determined, probably a bit stubborn and firm in their beliefs. Helga is fiercely inclusive; she’ll teach anyone regardless of talent or background. Salazar would undoubtedly admire Helga for standing up to the rest of the group and deciding to “teach the lot” but at the same time he would have found her frustrating. Their approaches and beliefs are quite different which would have eventually caused problems. They’re great together, in some ways, because they complement each other – Helga is down-to-earth while Salazar is proud and ambitious so she grounds him. And Helga clearly sees the good in everyone, as her approach to her students shows, so she would see the good in Salazar too. She would trust him when the other two were perhaps beginning not to. Ultimately, though, it’s a hard to see how they could move past Salazar’s feelings towards Muggle-borns, particularly when things started to fall apart and he left the school.
*sigh* So they’re a bit of an angsty pairing, really. We love them and all the interesting possibilities of their relationship, but, like the founders story itself, we know it can’t end well.

And unafraid of toil”
The Ravenclaw common room is located high up within a tower and known for its panoramic views of the school grounds. It is a large circular room filled with bookcases and blue furnishings. It is also one of the only common rooms to feature a statue of their house founder. The entrance requires no password but the solving of a riddle asked by a bronze eagle knocker. Incorrect answers result in having to wait outside for someone else to answer their riddle successfully. Once inside you can sit under the impressive starry domed ceiling and listen to the relaxing sounds of the wind whistling around the exterior of the tower windows.
